Festival of the Burning Sun

A festival in Vallaki where the people created different effigies to burn to coax out the power of the Morninglord.

Balthazar Bane, Drake, Pyrrha Strazni, and Rowan were ordered to attend by Baron Vargas Vallakovich like the rest of the people.

There Vargas hired Pyrrha to be the new high priest of Vallaki and to handle the burning of Milivoj and Henrik van der Voort for stealing the bones. Pyrrha agreed but spared Milivoj and Henrik.

Strahd von Zarovich made it snow and storm. Away from the festival, Karl Wachter and Nikolai Wachter were spying on Rictavio's wagon and released his tiger, which killed Nikolai and mauled Karl.

The party found the tiger and returned it to Rictavio and let him flee Vallaki.
