Strahd von Zarovich

In the Failed Rebellion, he let the scared run away so he could hunt them down later. Strahd spent the rest of the Failed Rebellion fighting The Wizard. Afterwards he threatened Ismark Kolyanovich's life if Burgomaster Kolyan Indrovich did not let him into the Kolyan Manor. There he bit Ireena Kolyana.

During the year in between the rebellion and the Party's arrival, Strahd laid siege on Barovia both as revenge and as a way to drive Ireena, the reincarnation of Original Ireena and his obsession, closer to him.

The day the Party came to the village of Barovia and repelled the undead, Strahd went to the Kolyan Manor to kill Kolyan and to bite Ireena once more. He later showed up to the Funeral for Kolyan with Escher Belasco. He left Escher in the carriage and approached offering condolences for Ireena and Ismark's loss.

Strahd went to make Ismark grovel but Drake shot Strahd's boot. He laughed and then left.

Strahd orchestrated the theft of St. Andral's bones knowing Ireena was heading there. His vampires threatened Henrik van der Voort and offered Milivoj gold for stealing them.

At the Festival of the Burning Sun, Strahd called upon a great snowstorm.

Strahd ran into Rowan after the Party had been defeated by The Coven, he offered to help retrieve Balthazar Bane, Drake, and Pyrrha Strazni from the Ethereal Plane at a cost. Rowan refused.

Strahd worked with Lady Fiona Wachter to orchestrate Fiona Wachter's Revolt. During the Beasts' Head Jamboree, Strahd appeared and ordered Escher and Anastraya Karelova to kill people. Strahd turned Vargas into a vampire spawn and used Vargas to taunt Leona Vallakovich.

Strahd revealed to the party that he cannot leave the land of Barovia through The Mists.

In the book, Strahd was a young boy training with a sword and not being very good at it. His father, King Barov paid him no mind except for his training as to not be weak.

Later in life, Strahd was still treated harshly by his father and looked for his approval. The coming arrival of Strahd's Sister worried Strahd.

Strahd grew frustrated that his father loved his sister more than him. Still using his last healthy days to make sure Strahd is battle ready to conquer the Dusk Elf territory.

The war progressed, taking over The Abbey. King Barov died off his illness without uttering a single positive word about Strahd.

In a dream, Strahd was seen battling a ball of light over Krezk. People presume it was The Abbot. And that the Abbot had defeated Strahd
